I want a purple Thrifti-Power engine block in my car, with a green transmission

Sounds good to me. Sadly quality isn't up to much.

You don't want the brown Thriftpower 170 with blue two-speed Ford-O-Matic?

As a former Comet owner, I approve of this post.

Don't see much of J. Drew Silvers around these days, but I think he's still got his.

See, here's the thing. My familiarity with Batman TV series characters is very poor, but I knew with absolute certainty that there would be a villain whose colors worked with brown and blue. I'm not sure if that says more about me or about the show.

I watched it alot as a kid with my dad, but dont remember too much. But yeah the costume designer used almost all hues in tandem with something else. There had to be one!

Ford's performance 'mascot' naming never quite matched their regular cars. A Mustang? Let's make the fast one with some kind of snake as an emblem. A big ball of ice hurtling through the universe? A natural disaster common to the Midwest involving a tunnel of high speed winds seems a appropriate.

Well, the performance version being the "Tunguska" would have made sense, except that nobody would have really known what they were talking about.
